Infiniti has successfully executed several projects at Delta Dental, including:
Disaster Recovery Plan - Infiniti developed the risk assessment and mitigation strategies; disaster recovery/business continuity planning; policy, procedure and process development for data security and integrity of protected health information.
Privacy Compliance Project - For Delta Dental of California Infiniti supported extensive Privacy compliance efforts. While a private-sector firm, Delta’s contracts with both state and federal agencies required it to implement its HIPAA Privacy program on behalf of its government clients. This required interaction and approval of many facets of activities from the California Department of Health Services, the Florida Healthy Kids Corporation which operates the Florida Healthy Kids Program, the Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board, and the TRICARE Management Authority. Infiniti developed a complex project plan using Microsoft Project for Delta’s state, local and federal programs and provided support for the development of the commercial operations project plan. The project plan encompassed tasks, activities, deliverables, resources and due dates for the Privacy, Security, Transaction and Code Set, Employer Identification Number and, to some extent, the National Provider Identifier. The Privacy Compliance program involved hundreds of policies and procedures that encompass privacy regulations from the most stringent of 17 states and the federal government with the goal of having one comprehensive set for use by the entire enterprise. Infiniti developed the original policy template for use by Delta’s State Government Programs business unit and assisted in the training efforts in order to fully implement the policies and procedures.
